my 11 month old not slept the night through since 7 1/2 months old.

wakes whenever dummy falls out, health visitor has recommended getting rid of it so have done that and now she screams for up to 2hrs before going to sleep and still waking in the night. we are only on our third night though. i go into her after 15mins to place my hand on her chest and calm her, but as soon as i leave she starts again.

am i being cruel or will this pay off in the long run?

we have tried putting several dummies in bed but she throws them in her sleep. when she does wake she now sits up but cant lay herself back down.

any advice on sleep training combined with losing a dummy?
