What would ou choose - sleeping 7pm-630am with 2 hour wake up at 2am or sleeping 10pm-6.30am with no wake up - and would dream feed help?

Basically as thread title says. Last couple of weeks my 4mo has done one of two things. She either goes to sleep about 7pm and wakes up about 2am at which point it can take 90 mins to two hours to feed her wind her and settle her, or she stays up until 10pm then sleeps through until 6.30am. I prefer the second of these even though it means me and dh have no time just the two of us.

However it's not really a choice - she decides herself by either being wide awake at 7pm or sleepy.

When she does go to sleep early though would a dream feed, or more likely waking her up at 10pm for a feed, help with the middle of the night waking?

Thanks

10pm to 6:30pm - so long as I could fall into bed almost as soon as the baby does.

But I really hate being woken up once I'm asleep Grin.

How do her daytime naps affect her night routine, is there any correlation?

Blush 6:30am of course...

no correlation with daytime naps that I've noticed. even if she has nap from 4pm-5pm which she often does even if I try not to let her she still sometimes then goes to sleep 6.30/7pm and sometimes 10pm.

I remember having a similar issue with DS at a similar age. In the end, what worked was making bedtime a lot earlier - so routine finished and feeding by 6.15. Any later and he couldn't fall asleep so would be up until 10pm ish. So with early bedtime and sometimes no routine, just change, pjs, feed, we started to get our evenings back. I remember having to tweak his afternoon nap so it didn't end later than half4/5 otherwise it wouldn't work!
