ok my ds is 15 weeks old and a good sleeper, he goes around 11-12 hours at night which is great, me and dp did go through a dummy run stage but let ds go cold turkey and self settle. however now he does self settle we get a lot of grunts and groans around 3 am which can go on and off fo an hour then again at 5 am on and off untill he gets up anywhere between 7 and 8. or ds latest one has been him cooing and laughing to himself at 5am! lovely to hear but not at 5am! so simple thing put him in his own room and we wont hear him as much, every night i have tried this ds self settling has turned into a cry untill i have given in and given him the dummy! any suggestions, proberly not but thought i'd share! poor dp gets up for work at 6 so his day is started anywhere from 3am or 5 now!

If he settles with the dummy, why are you so keen to get rid of it? Maybe you are introducing too many changes at once?
