9 month old - trying to cut out night milk but teething

Hi there
DD is 9 months and generally good sleeper - slept through 7pm til 6am about 50% of nights from 6-8 months and other nights woke once and had quick feed to send her off. However in last month she's woken once every night. I feel she doesn't need that night milk at all any more i and go back to work next month so DH and I agreed we'd go with him leading on settling her without milk. That was about a month ago and we now never seem to find the right time to do it - illness followed by holiday and now she has four teeth coming through at top.

Do others have experience of cutting out milk when baby is teething? Aware this bout could go on for couple week by which time I'm pretty much back at work and I'd really like to try and crack this before that

Thanks for help xx

Do you give her gel or calpol when she's teething? I think I'd leave it while teething. If she's waking because of pain then she'll wake whether you feed her or not.

Yes eg last night she woke at midnight, clearly pain so ii gave her calpol and also bf and then slept til 7. Without feed she wouldn't have settled back so well. But my gut says you're right - one battle at a time so wait on cutting out milk til her teeth are through....
