Hi there - -some help and/or pep talk needed........
My DD is now 10 months, and has had very unsettled nights for at least a month - maybe longer, my sleep-deprived brain can't remember when she last slept through.
She generally goes down well at 7pm, has a bit of a cry at 10pm ish when she settles herself, or may need her dummy back. But then at about 2.30pm, she start to whinge in her sleep, sometimes actually waking. Sometimes I can settle her back with a stoke of her back, but often I need to have her sleep on me for a bit to settle her. She is still in with us - we are working to get her room sorted now. She is also currently pulling herself to standing and trying to crawl, and I have noticed that when she is unsettled, she is almost trying to crawl in her sleep.
About 1 month ago I stopped her dream feed at 11pm, and this has not made much difference, and when she gets to morning, she is not starving, so I don't think it is hunger related.
Is this a sleep regression? Willl it ever stop? Will I ever sleep through a whole night again?
Any help gratefully recieved........

Hi Flossie... no advice just to let you know my DD (11 months) is exactly the same and has NEVER slept through the night. I can't believe she is getting worse... I know what you mean about them almost trying to crawl in their sleep.

Look forward to seeing what advice comes along.

Teeth? My 1 year old did this for two months at about that age. Knackering!

Or one of those developmental stages - is she walking? I can't offer you much hope - our nearly 16 month DS has only slept through a grand total of 3 nights ever.

She is desperately trying to crawl at the moment, and is pulling herself up to standing whenever she can. Could that be causing it?
