Argh! I just want to tie his hands behind his back and put blinkers on him!!

DS is driving me crazy! We're in full on distracted 4 month old hell!!

He wont rock to sleep as his arms flail about and if i try swaddling him or holding them to try and keep him still he screams. He wont feed to sleep as he's too distracted to feed unless he's virtually asleep anyway.

He literally cannot keep still! Best trick is trying to chew his fingers when his dummy is in and then getting pissed off that its fallen out. Hmm

roll on the teenage years!

my DD was like this at his age. In the end I tried just putting her in her cot with a blankie when I knew she was tired, amazingly she played quietly for a while and settled herself. I was Shock the first time she did it. She did it consistently, sleeping for about 1.5-2hrs most days until she learnt to stand up and it went downhill again Grin
