I know, i know, it's old hat....but we've struggled for nearly a year now and I'm not sure what to do....

HOW DO YOU GET A THREE YEAR OLD TO STAY IN HER BED?!!!!!

We've never changed her routine....(bath, story, cuddle and bed)
She laughs in the face of Supernanny....
Sleep fairy had some success (those with shares in Claires Accessories may have noticed a small return in their investment that month Hmm)
Sticker charts don't really cut the mustard....

Any tips please?
We have NO evening...(DD2 is a bad sleeper to)..and even less night....

PLLEEEEAASSSEEEE help

Things always seem to change when our kids hit 3, chez Catbus..

Perhaps it IS time to change the routine? I mean, maybe you could tweak it slightly so that mini Elk has a little 'say' in the routine?

And if she fannys about, really do follow through on the whole consequence thing: ie: if stay in bed the whole night, we'll go to the park; you pop out of your room once, it's off, mini Elk'..making sure you do NOT go to park.

I would see if there's any other reason why she won't stay in bed though; perhaps she's a bit freaked about something?? My DD1 had night terrors at 3 and they were awful. Just a thought.

Good luck Mummy Elk; may the force be with you (or something..) Grin
