How long did it taken your DC to get the message that mummy's milk is off tap at night? My DD2 is almost a year and not taking solids so I am trying to reduce her night feeds to 2. I started on Monday patting her/rocking back to sleep and for the past four nights she has woken every hour and cried for 15 - 45 mins. Even after the 2 feeds she will cry for 20 mins 
. I thought by night 4 she might have started to get the message! So is there a limit on how long you persisit? Or is this clearly not working? I'm too tired to work it out
