Hi All

I am sure something is up but can't figure out what!
The gro egg says the room is 20 and she wears a vest, long sleeve baby grow and 2.5 fog sleeping bag. Dont really want to put mitts on as she sucks her fists.

She is not in a draft. Just a bit confused as she should be nice and toasty! The back of her neck is warm.

I am confused!

Sarah

My DD is the same, her hands are always colder than the rest of her body and she also wears what you describe.

I think it's normal to be honest and nothing to really worry about.

My MW said not to worry about temperature of extremities - just feel back and torso to get an idea of central temp.

Babies often have colder hands and feet don't check or worry abour her temperature by her hands.
Sheck her tummy or the back of her neck but expect her wee hands to be colder.
DS2's are always freezing in the night but doesn't bother him and the rest of him is cozy.

It's probably the fist sucking - her hands end up wet and get cold as a result. I agree with the other posters, it is nothing to worry about.

My DS2 is the same. DS1 was the same too, don't worry about it.
