Help!

My 7 week old DS wont sleep any where but on DH or my chest or arms. He use to sleep in his cot at night and naps in his moses basket during the day. Whenever we try to lay him down he lasts for 10 mins before he wakes and starts crying. I've warned his cot/moses basket before putting him down but no result. I really dont want him to get use to sleeping like this. Please help,

We had this problem with our DD (12 weeks) a few weeks ago, she just randomly wouldn't sleep in her moses basket anymore and we tried everything. Eventually we started putting her in one of those sleeping bags and she has been a lot better since. I think she must have been cold with just blankets. Could that be the cause?

I read something in the book the Wonder Weeks that they go through a developmental change between 7 and 10 weeks old and get clingier for a short period whilst they are adjusting, so that maybe why he wont go in his cot?

Is it possible he no longer can stand laying down flat and prefers sleeping at an angle (due to, perhaps, reflux)?

Or perhaps he needs to be swaddled tightly?
