my dd1 for the last two weeks since the clocks went back started crying at going to bed saying it was 'toooooo scarey' and then getting out of bed at exactly 1am and 5am, both times she would go straight back to bed so we figured she wasn't scared and still tired, so obviously because it is still dark at 7am she was unsure when the morning was.
we bought her the gro-clock.... omg, amazing. there is a story book about a lazy pig and sun and star on it and it has worked a trick. she ran upstairs this morning and was so excited that the sun was out!! 
we were so excited too as it was a reasonable hour of the day.. and.... we didn't have any little visits in the night!!!!
