When should I move my toddler into her first bed?

Any advice on what age i should introduce a bed to my toddler or what signs I should be looking for?. She has a cot bed so the transition is easy but I am worried about her getting out during the night etc.

We did DD1 at 2 years. She loved it and didn't get up and down alot at night. She also dropped naps at 2 so she was dead tired
