how do you "juggle" a baby's feed times at night?

I know I've asked a similar question sometime before, I just need reminding of where we go next.

My baby is 11 weeks old now. She goes to bed sometime around 8-8.30pm. We tried to get her down for 7-7.30 but found she cried much more and seems to prefer the 8-8.30 slot, so we're back to that.

She usually takes a 6oz bottle at 7pm but doesn't always finish it. If she takes it all, she'll wake at about 3am, if she only takes 3oz, she usually needs to feed around midnight in addition to the 3am.

SO here's the questions.

  1. How do we get her to go to bed earlier? Does this just happen or do you have to influence it? I guess 8.30 isn't too bad, but it's quite late if we want to get a social life back anytime in the future....

  2. Is there any way we can get her to take her "long" sleep after midnight? She can sleep for seven hours, it's just not the most convenient 7 hours!

We have tried "dreamfeeding". She will take about 4-5oz but still wakes up between 3-4am needing a bottle.

Pleeeease don't post replies telling me I have a great sleeper and ought to be grateful for it. I know she's good, I'm just asking a question to see if anyone else has cracked this...
