10 week old still sleeps ALL the time. Normal?

ds2 has been feeding every four hours and sleeping soundly in between, since birth. I am slightly concerned that at 10 weeks old he is still pretty much doing this. He might have 2 or 3 short wakeful times (half an hour) during the day but then it's off to sleep again. Is this normal? I am sure ds1 was wide awake a lot during the day by 6-8 weeks. Does anyone else have a VERY sleepy baby?

My sister has a very sleepy baby too. She finds it very hard to feed her because she's constantly trying to wake her up before and during her feeds. So it takes ages! Baby is a similar age to yours. At least they are not demanding your attention all of the time, hope that makes you feel better - it's driving my sis nuts!

Sorry, am I right in that you are COMPLAINING about this? My dd didn't sleep at all for the first three months. Now THAT is a problem!
