3yo twins - one sleepwalking, one keeps appearing in our bed...

Hi,

This is the first time I have posted on Sleep so apologies if this is done a lot..?

I have 3 yo ID twins. They share a room and have been really good sleepers for the last couple of years.

However I think one of them has recently started sleepwalking.

For several nights in a row now we have heard her get up and stumble across the room Last night DH went in and she was saying "Where's it gone?". I think she was talking about a trike as she'd said the same thing earlier that day at playgroup. DH said when he asked her what she was talking about she didn't seem to notice he was there and was all bleary eyed.

Just now I heard a thud on the stairs and when I put the light on she was on all fours in the hallway but looked up at me, waved and said "hello mummy" then went to bed, again looking very tired and kind of asleep.

Does this sound like sleepwalking and is 3 a bit young to be doing this? I googled it and it said its usually something that affects kids between 6 and 12 and more likely to be boys.

Also my other DD has been climbing into our bed every night for a month. Sometimes we hear her come in, other nights we wake up to find her sleeping in there. Any ideas how we can make her stop? We take her back to her bed when we notice her but she just keeps doing it. Once I told her to go back to bed without actually taking her back myself then I realised that she has got down to sleep on the floor in our room. There are no other signs of problems such as nightmares etc so I don't know why.

Thanks.
