I go to bed about 1pm, and get up at 6.30.

I really have to learn to go to bed earlier, especially as I have an underactive thyroid.

In the week bed by 10.30 if pos, sometimes 11 and up at 6am. At weekends same unless I know it's my lie in then I might stay up a bit later. Dd wakes at 6am so up at the same time

I go to bed at 11pm in the week and up at 5am to go to work.
Have nap in afternoon sometimes if poss.
At weekend DH and I have a routine - I lay in on Sat and he lays in on Sun!

think im hitting an all time record...ive had about 5 hours sleep in three days.

lyra41 · 16/09/2005 06:13

I go to bed about 10 most nights and get up about 7, but occasionally wake up and get up much earlier (about once a week), like today, 5:20 or so coz I can't get back to sleep.

I like those couple of hours when it's just me and the dog and cat. I do mn, maybe some online grocery shopping, put a wash on, a bit of mild tidying maybe and I'll nap this afternoon if I need to.

Why do you get so little sleep?

nightowl · 16/09/2005 06:30

dont know lyra...ive been like it since i had dd but thats no excuse because she's 20 months now and doesnt wake in the night!

lyra41 · 16/09/2005 06:32

So are you really tired, or is that all the sleep you need? I've had insomnia before, so could give some tips for sleep if you need them.
