What is your baby/toddler wearing to bed?

I have a 14 month old who is a very mobile sleeper but doesn't understand blankets/covers yet so I have been putting him to bed in a fleecey sleep suit with baby gro and vest underneath. He doesn't really like sleeping bags as he trips and falls in his cot in them. Does anyone know where I can get a higher tog sleepsuit or are there any alternatives?

The house gets very cold at night so am going to leave the heating on low until I can get something better for him.

(It's probably not the cold at all that wakes him, but that's another thread!)

I'm guessing you've come across Mothercare's fleecy sleepsuits (with rubber feet bits to prevent slipping). DD1 hated sleeping bags -m would go rigid & yell when you tried to get her in them - so vest & Mothercare fleecy all-in-one plus putting a blanket over her when we went to bed seemed to keep her warm enogh. You could also put a hot water bottle in the bed to warm it up before he gets in, then take it out when you put him to bed.
