If you don't bath your baby every night what is your sleep routine?

We don't plan on doing bath time every night with DD2 (16 days) so I was just wondering what other people do for a bedtime 'routine', I'm thinking more of sleep cues.

Current sleep routine involves DD2 feeding around 8-9, me running up stairs to grab an hour or two of sleep before she wakes up again for a feeding/fussing marathon for 3 hours!

There is no routine with one so young in my experience!!!

Its very much play it by ear! I always had mine in PJs by 6pm, and then just waited for the sleep to come!

I think you are right, and we were the same with DD1, just wondering if I should do more. We've always been too lazy to do bath every night, but i know that signals bed time for a lot of people.

Last bottle in a dark room, then into cot.

we aren't doing bathtime every night as actually I think it would be bad for her skin. we haven't had any sort of routine up until now (13 weeks), but we are now starting feeding from about 7pm onwards in a dark room, putting into sleeping bag and then into cot when she shows she is tired (usually by crying!). We will also be introducing a story at some point, too, when she becomes a bit more regular in her tired time.
