Fluke? Not a clue, but she always ends up in our bed, and if we don't bring her into us we have to get up to her every hour. But for the last two nights she has slept all night in her own bed. I don't believe it.

My little one is 22 months and is usually really good at sleeping through unless he's unwell, however, just this last week he has started waking at about 4-5am and coming into my bedroom (he is in his own bed, not a cot)- not wanting to get into the same routine I did with my first, I have perservered with putting him back, this morning I put him back '42' times! He finally settled at 5.30am but 25 minutes later he was up again, however this time, it was almost time for the alarm to go off, so I switched on the radio and allowed him in bed, I did try to explain that he could only come in if the music was playing. I feel a little worried that I have completely confused him and that it may take longer than 42 times next time...

It's so hard to know what to do isn't it. I don't know whether it's easier to let them in and get some sleep or persevere and keep putting them back. But then i just think they are not babies for ever are they, and there will come a time when we will long for them to come for a cuddle and they won't want to know

She also slept through last night. I think we may be onto a winner
