Am I only the one who is still having to give a bottle in the night to a 10 month old?

Hi,

DS was sleeping through the night and then had a bout of illness where he has wken again - been fed and then needed settling to sleep by meself or my DP rubbing his back.

He is now mostly better but still waking for a feed - although not at any particular time. Last night, when he woke at 1am I settled him back to sleep without feeding him - but he woke an hour later and then I fed him (drank 210ml). Left him to settle himself - but while he did seem to be settling himself - he then started crying - so went into him. He can settle himself sometimes.

Basically - what to do, what to do? Don't really like leaving him to cry hysterically - and he won't be settled in his cot without me picking up first. If anyone has any experience I would greatly appreciate it. Can I just wait to grow out of it or is CC the only way to go now?

Thanks

ds2 was a nightmare. he has in the last year only started to sleep through. he's 5 in november. ds1 was better and slept through from about that age( 10 mths).

Thanks - this all makes me feel a bit better!

DS2 is 10 months this week and still having at least 1 feed at night. I feel that if they're taking that much, they really need it, in which case CC is rather unfair.

DS2 is 14 months and still feeding at night.
