hi, would be gratefl for advice tips and reassaurance. my 6.5 month old DS2 is now bottle feeding and have started weaning and has about 2 meals a day. doesnt seem to want evening meal yet. for the last 2 weeks seemed to be sleeping through from around 8pm-8.30pm ish till 7am with a dream feed between 10-11pm. last few nights she ha been waking at 3-4am playign and eventually i end up giving her a bottle at 5am which she drinks. dont want to start giving her feeds that early though, as i was quite getting used to her waking at 7am and having first feed around 7.30am. also am not quite sure how many bottled to be giving her. when she used to ahve about 4 bottles of 8oz SMA, she started vomiting. she now has about 4 bottles of approx 6oz. she has become constipated too. C&G gave her diarrohea. Aptimil also gave constipation. SMA was ok initially, not sure why suddenly constipated.

please help!!

Have you switched to bottle feeding? Were you BF before? She could be reacting to the cow's milk. How is she with dairy otherwise?

There is a growth spurt at 6 months so she's likely to be hungry in the night.

Weaning - what kind of food is she eating? There's the chance that she's filling up on stuff that doesn't have the same high level of calories as milk feeds so gets hungry later on in the night.
