amby nest for a 4 month old...

in desperation I persuaded DH to order this for DD (19 weeks) as an 'investment' for future LO's too...

Since 13 weeks DD stopped sleeping 6-8 hours and currently her longest stretch is 8-11pm before needing a feed then typically she ends up in bed with me from 1/2am... Amby website and reviews here wax lyrical about the amby, for extending sleep in older babies??

Any amby users have experience of this??

And can anyone reassure me she won't end up dangling out of it in a few weeks!!! she's not rolling yet but the thought just crossed my mind...

I used mine until DS could roll inside it at 9 months. It's surprisingly hard for them to roll in it (have you ever tried turning in a hammock?) as they have no solid ground to push from and just swing instead! My DS could roll over on solid ground from around 4 months if I remember right at this time in the morning!!

I can't recommend them enough. They're absolutely fabulous. Most parents that use one will never go back to a cot, they're that good!

Good luck. I hope it works really well for you

He slept VERY well in it. To be honest it's a bit of a blur as I had pnd and had just lost my dad but think ds was about 3-4 months old and slept really well in hammock but very bad before we got it. Worth it's weight in gold. Once you've tried it you'll NEVER use a Moses basket again! Let me know how you get on but be reassured I've never heard negative only positive (some parents think it's a miracle sleep cure! Grin ).
Good luck x
