Hi all,

My DS is 15 weeks and over the last few days seems to have lost the ability to go to sleep in the day without being driven around or occasionally being fed to sleep. His naps then only seem to last 30-40mins.

Over the last couple of weeks he had been getting to sleep by being rocked or walked in the pram and more recently had started to self soothe in his pram and cot.
I read once that sleep can tie in with babies learning new things and he is constantly trying to sit up at the moment - could this be the cause of it as he is trying to master pulling himself up.

He is BF but has one formula bottle before bed. He generally gets 11 / 12 hours at night although does feed in this time.

He is usually a really happy baby and barely cries so these overtired crying fits are a bit of a shock.

Has anyone else had this or has any advice....

Your ds is coming up to the 16 week growth spurt, so it could be something to do with that?

When ds had these blips I would always carry on with what I used to do previously (feed, song, etc etc) and within a few days it would go back to how it used to be.
