she was knackered tonight as we were away all day, i thought she'd crash, but no down the stairs at 8.50 (bed time is 8.15 or so), and again around 9.25, got her into it finally there 5mins ago.
she tried ever scenario in her little book!
and wanted her cot back.

what do you do? just put up with this for a week or so?

hadnt really thought about the being able to come out now by herself.....hmmmmm

What does Hijinks mean?

hermykne · 31/08/2005 07:51

it means messing - and in her case coming out of the room and down the stairs!

It does get better, I find with my two the more knackered they are the worse it is.

Just put her back in bed, escort her back to bed - climbing stairs knackers them out , say good night, tuck them in and leave the room. Do not enter into conversation, if they get no reaction they get bored and stay in bed. Supernanny method and it works !!

kaz33, youre right the tireder (!) they are the worse it is. last night it took an hour!
but i saw supernanny briefly just around that bedtime thing so i'll certainly use it.
