So, er yeah the title says it all really.
My DD is 11 months old. Shes a very tiny little girl. (Born 2 weeks late and she weighed 5lbs at birth, shes still small & only weighs 15lbs)

Anyway she'll only drop off in the day for naps & at night if she has a bottle of milk to suck....if i give her water she wont drop off.
She hardly drinks it, its just a comfort thing so when she wakes (at least twice a night still) shes looking for a bottle and wont stop crying till shes got one.
I realise me giving her a bottle is a problem and is stopping her settling herself & me getting a full night sleep.

So my question is, is there any way i can get her to stop taking a bottle to drop of to sleep?...im exhausted! has anyone got any advice on how to wean her off it without having to let her cry it out?

Have you tried a dummy? If she is not drinking, but wants comfort.

Either that, or you just have to take a few days to get her to resettle without a bottle & cope with the upset for the long term goal.
