Mine's not yet 2 and I already can't remember properly. Think about 1yr - 15months

codswallop · 27/07/2003 12:40

do you thik we are all so knackered at that point that we have amnesia?

musica · 27/07/2003 12:40

Mine never had one. After he settled into a pattern, he just had an afternoon nap.

batey · 27/07/2003 12:42

Mine were both about 12-14ms I think. Seems ages ago now!!

LIZS · 27/07/2003 12:48

If we didn't have selective amnesia we'd all stop at one . I think I only recollect accurately the landmarks to my benefit - like sleeping through !!

Demented · 27/07/2003 14:46

My DS2 is almost 14 months and I think he is in the process of dropping this nap, some days he needs it some days not and sometime when he naps in the morning he won't sleep in the afternoon, grrrr.

kaz33 · 27/07/2003 14:51

13 months

codswallop · 27/07/2003 19:34

I am sure mine were younger...They go to one chunky, irritatingly timed one then dont they - sort of 11 - 1

about 15 months - took me a while to cotton on to what was happening (he stopped settling for the afternoon nap rather than the morning) but once I dropped it he settled very quickly. Know what you mean about the irritating timing - in my case best at about 11.30 - so is lunch at 11 or 2??

pupuce · 27/07/2003 19:43

Both mine were 18 months old.

XAusted · 27/07/2003 20:49

Codswallop, when you say am nap, does that mean there's still a pm nap? Or are you talking about the age when they have no naps at all???

Teletubby · 27/07/2003 21:05

Mine dropped hers at around 10 months but kept the middle of the day 12:15 - 1430 hours.

codswallop · 27/07/2003 21:19

still have pm

Mine's 15 months and only has 1 sleep but still can be morning - about 11ish (or else we have an early lunch and she goes down at about 12-12.30). When she was having 3 naps it was the late afternoon one she dropped first at probably 8 months ish and then when she dropped from 2 to 1 nap, she would still happily go down for a morning nap at 9.30/10.00 but started refusing the afternoon nap (so had to make the morning nap later). Think this was at something like 10 months.

Claireandrich · 27/07/2003 21:54

DD's 15mo and always has one nap a day. Time can vary though, depending on time we get up, what we are doing, if she is at nursery, etc. At nursery she always has a nap after lunch, at about 11:45am for an our or so. When not at nursery, nap can be am or pm, and varies from 45 minutes to 2 hours. We aren't very good with routine!

expatkat · 27/07/2003 23:13

8-9 months. I happen to remember, because dd just went through it.

PandaBear · 28/07/2003 08:54

My DD is 14 months old - and she still sleeps for 1 hour in the morning, and 1.5 hours in the afternoon. I guess they're all different!!

zebra · 28/07/2003 15:39

DS didn't stop morning sleep until 16 months.
DD went to just a pm sleep when she was 8 or 9 months old.
