Baby asleep, content but grunting and groaning and waking us up!

Two month old bf baby, sleeps through (please don't hate me!) from about 9 til 6ish, last couple of weeks starts grunting and groaning loudly from about 3.30/4ish. She's fast asleep, just seems to be dreaming or whatever - if i feed her she doesn't wake up and carries on groaning afterwards.
What can we do? We don't have a spare room so I am having to get up and bring her downstairs. I'm going to buy DP earplugs but is there anything else to try? I'm guessing this is a brain development thing and we'll just have to suck it up ""

I have no advice, but if it helps, you do get used to the noise and eventually you tune it out. I would have never believed this to be possible two months ago.

btw consider yourself hated

Thanks! I can sort of tune it out, I only seem to wake up fully when she NEEDS something, but her dad can't sleep through it at all, so it's earplugs for him and if that doesn't work we'll have to take turns at sleeping on a lilo in the front room. Baby is a very alert wee thing in the day and she's quite vocal so I think it is just her little brain getting to grips with it all.
Just want to make the most of her sleeping through to be ready for the 4 month sleep regression...

Yes, it does improve. I think my DS was a quiet sleeper by about 3 months.

That's what I like to hear - someone who's prepared for the regressions to come!

Congratulations on your DD.
