Planning ahead for Christmas 2025!

Big birthday coming up over Christmas 2025 so we’re planning ahead.

We love a catered chalet but usually fill them with friends / family. For this trip we’ll probably be by ourselves - family of 4 with 2 older teens.

1 dc has a few food intolerances (not diagnosed allergies but need avoiding otherwise spends a lot of time on the loo!) and chalets have been really accommodating in the past. We’re not keen on the idea of sharing a chalet with people that we don’t know.

Baring that in mind I’d really like :

a hotel with rooms with 2 bedrooms, or interconnected rooms

A good choice of food - not just a set menu each night

Snow sure at Christmas so needs to be pretty high.

We’ve mainly skied in France (due to the greater choice of chalets) but are very willing to consider other places.

Initial searches are proving a bit overwhelming so I thought I’d put it out there and see if anyone knows of anywhere that ticks the boxes!

Club Med Tignes. Book as the rates come out and you can get an interconnected room.

Great for food and it’s well located. Not the cheapest.

If you don’t need lessons, Val Thoren Club Med would also work.

Do you know when it goes on sale @Yikesthathurt ?

Don’t they do lessons at the Val Thorens club Med? For that amount of money I’d expect them to be available.

To be honest, I’d use other lessons as a preference. VT is one of the most expensive resorts in the Alps and CM there would be pricey regardless.

I'd also look at club med, either tignes or val d'isere.
