Has anyone got the train from Geneva airport to La Chable? Can I ask how easy it was with ski equipment??

I’ve not done that exact journey but lots to similar areas and it should be fine. Public transport goes everywhere regularly in Switzerland, the train station is in the airport and it’s one train then change at martigny I think, to another train. So a bit of walking Inside airport but not too bad. Altho the train on way back maybe a bit crowded if it’s ski season and a Sunday pm

It’s very easy to do, and a very beautiful train journey round lake Geneva. One stop at Martigny as pp has said, which you get off one train, walk across a platform onto another train. I’ve done this journey a few times, and train is always waiting for you. I do believe there may be a new train for this winter which will go from Geneva airport strait to le chable. I’ve taken skis with me and plenty of storage space on the trains.
