atomicnotsoblonde · 07/01/2024 21:10

First time newbie. Have just booked 5 days for my partner and I at Les Carroz.

Any tips on how the most affordable transfers and things to do? Going in early February.

Thanks

Have you checked if Altibus run shared transfer buses? They are generally very reliable and well priced.

also findtransfers.com seems to work for private (it gathers quotes from local companies for you)

Go Massif is a local company that does good transfers. You can get shared transfers or private. The shared are a good price.

A couple tips for your Les Carroz trip - I'd definitely recommend checking FindTransfers.com to get quotes from local transfer companies. When my partner and I went a few years ago we used them and were able to easily book a private transfer from Geneva airport for a good price. Have also heard good things about Go Massif for shared transfers, might be worth getting a quote from them too.

As for things to do, Les Carroz has lovely scenic ski runs of course. We also really enjoyed exploring the nearby villages for fondue and apres-ski. Have a great time!

Private transfers are expensive around 350 euros return we were quoted to Le Grand Bornand which isn't far away.

Thanks all. I've got a quote from Go massif and think we'll go with this. Any recommendations for in the resort? Is it easy to find food/drinks etc?

We went with Go Massif but it was about 5 years ago. They were very good though.

The swimming pool is worth a visit but quite expensive,

Lots of good restaurants in the village and on the pistes. A supermarket for basics plus fancy delis if you are self catering.
