Campsites in the Alps

So because we can't go to Italy (12 year old and only first vaccine) for half term, we looked at France and the accommodation costs are rocketing. We thought we'd drive the caravan down there for half term instead! Any recommendations for easily accessible campsites for the slopes? Happy to go anywhere (the kids can't wait for the adventure!) but ideally want to minimise the driving on those small mountain roads!!!

Yes, some of the campsites look amazing Just keen on any recommendations or peoples thoughts not having done it before!

Is your caravan safe on snowy roads.I have seen plenty of hideous moments on swiss pass roads where caravans literally just slid down the road ,agross the road.

Don’t you have to isolate on entry into France if you are not fully vaccinated?

Have you winter tyres?
