Catered Chalet Les Arcs

can anyone recommend a catered chalet I. les Arcs, or a good company that covers that area?

I’ve had a look and there is very little available which surprises me as I assumed lots of people would be holding off booking. Unless Les Arcs is more apartments than chalets.

We went to Les arcs 2000. In self catering apartments.

I don’t think there are many catered chalets there as it’s small has a couple of big hotels.

There is a company called chaletonline which lists lots of chalets. But I can’t see any that are catered.
Have you tried the big ski companies like crystal or iglu

Yup tried those. I’m wondering if they don’t really feature in Les Arcs.

We want catered tho, not self catering

Just over the mountain in Vallandry or belle plange there is lots of catered chalets. I think la plange has quite a few. Belle plange is the nicest of the “planges” I think and lots of ski in/out. You can ski les arcs/la plange with the right pass too. We have done both. Les arcs is probably a bit easier I think if you have beginners/children but both resorts are lovely.

Yes we did like Les Arcs. Also super convenient when getting the Eurostar service

I stayed in an apartment thing at the top it was in a hotel on the slope I found it on air bnb it had two bedrooms and bathrooms is that big enough for you do you want me to find a link

Yes they are but traditional catered chalets are on the way out and Covid has accelerated that... various chalet operators unfortunately no longer trading and I think the likelihood of social distancing continuing means there will be a lot fewer offerings of large multi household/shared places in 2021. Hope you find what you are after though.

We stayed in 1950 self catering. Never cooked though, ate out or did raclette and take away tarte iflette from the mountain store.

Post on the Chalet Solutions site. You put in your requirements and area and the chalets come back to you. It's great.

Turns out the ski train isn’t running this winter.

I hadn’t fully thought through the Covid impacts, that makes sense @Talklessmilemore

Back to the drawing board.
