Hi all, hoping for some advice. We usually book equipment through big websites, but just wondering if anyone has any advice for the best websites/deals currently? Thanks!

Resorts have equipment rental shops everywhere. Just do it in resort.

You would get a better price doing it on line in advance.

One thing that can make a massive difference is consider where your kit will be stored. Last time we went, our apartment was a 5 min walk from the gondola and had a boot room. So we hired from the town centre (10 mins walk the other way). However, when grappling kids and skis and poles and their kit and trying to walk in uncomfortable boots, that 5 mins feels like 5 miles! Next time, we're hiring at the shop at the foot of the gondola and storing overnight there.

Hi @derbee which resort are you going to? SkiSet and Sport 2000 do really competitive prices online and these days will work with most of the local shops anyway. It's really handy if you find a shop by the lifts that let you store overnight but it depends where you are going.

Ski resort. Also don't be afraid to go back and change the gear if you don't get on with it (eh, shorter length, the skis looks battered etc)

One time we went, the DH changed skis every other day (to test or because of other factors) for no extra charge
