Journey to les Arcs

We live in the North of the U.K. and have just booked Les Arcs. We could take the train, but that seems it will take all day long, we could fly to Geneva then a 3 hour transfer - has anyone got any experience to recommend? I'm inclined to go for the flight rather than he train on car st as well as time but maybe the train would be easiest?

The journey will take you a whole day, regardless of how you do it. I'd definitely suggest the train for Les Arcs as it's so close to the station in Bourg St Maurice. Depends how easily you can get to St Pancras though? Assuming you're looking at the direct Eurostar then you would need to be there early Saturday morning and if you're coming down from the North then are there the right trains to get you there early enough to connect? Purely for this reason it might be better to fly into GVA and there are myriad ways to sort a transfer to Les Arcs from there, but you'll need to count on travelling for the entire day whichever you choose.
