Alpe D'huez - friends wanted!

Hello. We have a flat in ADH so come here a lot. Christmas, Feb half term and Easter. DD is 3. DD having private lessons. Is there anyone out there who also comes here regularly and would like to hang out, share lessons, guides etc

Are you all too advanced for ski school, just must be good to link up with some others?

We have a holiday home and my boys get fedup going same place I think it's good idea to get them to invite friends (but my boys are 12 & 16)

Were going skiing as a family first time Feb ht, also in France if we take off with if, I'm sure we'll be back for more next year

We have been (slowly, but persistently) thinking about buying in ADH, my DD are 4 and 7. We ski a lot, both girls ski well, but we are a bit torn over returning to the same resort, plus we tend to go with friends and that would put a spanner in the works. Sorry, not exactly what you want, but still pondering.

Hi don't call me. We live in London, nw3.
I am sure beachhead would agree that having your own place doesn't feel like a holiday. It's a dishwasher with a view.
For the same money we could go to a really lovely hotel or chalet once a year. It's diffrent in the flat. Friends come and rent in the building or go a bit more up market and rent near by. Have you looked at anything in ADH? The cheaper more traditional places are small and the new stuff is roomy but pricey. We knocked a 1 bed (that my husband had already) into a studio that we bought together. We would be lucky to get the money back - this was not a wise property investment!

Beachhead - I think you could find a more family friendly place but I don't know any other resorts like I know ADH. It is high and larger than a lot. I would recommend the chamois d'or which is on the snow and is a really lovely family fun hotel. Pool games room suites with fires. Or VIP chalets next door to the hotel. Great child care so I hear. Think VIP guests can use the hotel pool. There is a huge heated very clean outdoor pool and the sports centre has stuff going on.

We are going to there on Sunday for a week. Have you any fab information and handy hints for us?
