'Skinny' Skiing trousers needed

Hello,

I will start going skiing regularly and I can just remember how much I hated baggy skiing trousers. As I am not really getting cold, they don't have to be super thick and should just lie on the leg if that makes sense. Can anybody recommend a good brand for it? Thanks.

I have a pair like you describe from Sweaty Betty a couple of seasons back. I much prefer the feel to that of my baggy North Face pair. But- they are not waterproof (particularly staggering considering the cost). On a snowy day last year I ended up really wet. So I wouldn't recommend a pair from there if you need to keep dry unless reviews indicate they're improved. But if you're unlikely to get wet, they fit well and are really cosy.

Think I found some Helly Hansen ones recently on Cotswold Outdoor???

Try decathlon or look at Cross Country skiing trousers, they tend to be skinny.

I have a pair of stretchy ski pants, they're a little bit like back bootleg trousers. They're warm and pretty waterproof and don't make me look as thunderous of thigh as salopettes! They're a bit like these although they're years old now. I feel they're classic not dated although there are a few glossy Ivana Trump types on the slopes in the same trousers

I wear mountaineering softshell trousers with thermals under. Mine are Rab.

Swix do cross country gear, but you might struggle to fit them over with alpine ski boots? I wear ron hill trackie pants over cut off tights with paclite trousers as my waterproof layer. Works for me but im a xcountry skiier mostly.
