Has anyone been to Gerlos-Zillertal in April? Was there much snow on the ground?
Have just been told work means we have a chance to go skiing this season, but everywhere seems to be booked for half term, so April is a better bet. However, am I likely to be wading through slush and only have snow on the tops of the hills by then?
Alternatively, can anyone suggest a good hotel with childcare (for 4yr old - plus we have 8 and 10 y-o) near Chambery that still might have half term places? Dh isn't keen on a shared chalet, and the rooms need to be good as he doesn't ski so will be spending lots of time there...
