Skiing in Italy

Can anyone recommend a nice, not too large resort for families? DC are 4, 7, 11 and 13?

I've ski'd in Cervinia before and loved it so would like to return to Italy. Would love as least hassle arranging this as possible so a package would be good, in a ski in and ski out hotel pref with free wine.

Not asking much then!

Ideas anyone?

Ta.

We had a fabulous time in Livogno - downside is it is a long transfer but it is a high resort with good snow records. It's also tax free so shopping, food and drink are pretty cheap.

Livigno, sorry

kdiddy - Thanks for posting. How long was the flight? Where did you stay? Hotel or Chalet?

We went to Selva last year with Esprit - beautiful scenery of the Dolomites - great snow making in case there hasn't been much of the real stuff. None of the Esprit properties there are ski in/ski out though.

We went to Calviere at half term - there were no lift queues whatsoever!
