I do hope that they have been invited in just as enthusiastic a way as gordon was.

Forget them - We want SUE

Heathcliffscathy · 03/05/2010 20:33

I think given how powerful mn is ( ) it is very important that she is seen to be evenhanded.

Yes get them on. I may persuade a few more people to vote for Gordon then

jonicomelately · 03/05/2010 20:38

'It'

harimo · 03/05/2010 20:42

I'd LOVE to hear what Sue really thinks of Gordon post-Bigotgate

I'd also love to see NC and DC on here.

But, I have to admit, I'm not a fan of Gordon Brown and it would take an armageddon-type-situation to ever get me to vote for him... and even then... he shouldn't get too sure!

Heathcliffscathy · 03/05/2010 20:43

carrie? think you're on at the moment (prob saying goodbye to gordon!)

JustBlameSue · 03/05/2010 20:44

Will she be selling her story to the News of the World after thurs. I bloody hope so.

frakkinnuts · 03/05/2010 20:46

Yep and they will have exactly the same question from me.

And if one of them answers it and I like the answer they'll get my vote...

Bonsoir · 03/05/2010 20:47

I think Gordon invited himself on, sophable - a last ditch attempt to garner votes safe from egg throwers!

jonicomelately · 03/05/2010 20:47

Why not have 'SuSylvester meets Sue' on MNTV

Heathcliffscathy · 03/05/2010 20:50

what was your question frakkin?

bonsoir, no matter, now all 3 need to have been asked on.

TheCrackFox · 03/05/2010 20:50

At least on Mumsnet he won't accidentally leave his microphone on as he describes what he actually thinks about certain posters.

EVye · 03/05/2010 20:54

I'd like to see the other parties on too, in the interests of fairness?

Heathcliffscathy · 03/05/2010 20:58

i do hope this won't be fudged...i.e. i hope that mnhq are doing the UTMOST to get the other two on now that GB has been on (whether or not he asked to be or they did).

OP posts:
JustineMumsnet · 03/05/2010 21:03

Yes we have asked both camps very enthusiastically today. Fyi we didn't ask GB on - he asked us to come on this lunchtime!

copperjar · 03/05/2010 21:04

I don't think it's necessary tbh, given that GB being on is as likely to give him an opportunity to royally screw something up as it is to persuade anybody to vote for him.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 03/05/2010 21:05

thank you for clearing that up.

sethstarkaddersmum · 03/05/2010 21:09

Ooh, I hope the others come. Then I can see if they both ignore my feminism question too

DreamsInBinary · 03/05/2010 21:09

What did they say, Justine?

Need we hover for another last-minute visit?

Heathcliffscathy · 03/05/2010 21:11

excellent!! will you keep us posted as to responses as well as whether than when?

sterling work!

OP posts:
JustineMumsnet · 03/05/2010 23:34

Not heard anything back as yet but of course we'll keep you posted. Will have another go now...

frakkinnuts · 04/05/2010 08:01

Basically I want an ID card and I was being nice by giving GB a gift of a question to prove that ID cards could help at least 1 part of the population. But if Cameron or Clegg will let me have my card I'll vote for them. Otherwise I'll let my proxy decide how my vote is best deployed tactically seeing as I obviously haven't met any local candidates, being out the country. I think there should be an overseas constituency...

ProfessorLaytonIsMyLoveSlave · 04/05/2010 08:58

So at a time when pretty much everyone agrees there will have to be huge spending cuts extending even into what have traditionally been regarded as essential areas, you plan to vote for whoever will commit a huge sum of money to a costly project that will end up costing twice as much as estimated (because government IT projects always do)? Good luck with that.

JustineMumsnet · 04/05/2010 11:13

Heard back from Libdems press officer who says:

trying their best to find a time when we're stationary in one place with web access to do this as we'd love the opportunity to do another webchat.

So keep everything crossed.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 04/05/2010 11:47

can clegg not manage it on his blackberry?!
