I've just found this and thought I'd prewarn in case it does get here.

ah crap

Molesworth · 18/04/2010 23:04

they sound like a charming bunch

LauraIngallsWilder · 18/04/2010 23:05

I dont understand your link

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 18/04/2010 23:06

I can't see where it talks about mumsnet to be honest, this sounds like netmums though:
"Just looking at the sigs on that forum. They've all got these countdown things going from ages out as well as how much weight they're gonna lose. Fucking crazy women."

If you scroll down they are talking about a wedding site, not mumsnet.

I think that the weight loss talk was re the wedding site - confetti. not netmums...

HellBent · 18/04/2010 23:12

Surely we should invade them first, or does that make us saddo losers with nothing better to do, not strictly talking about the last lot that came here CUK TWATS

I really should get that seen to!

LynetteScavo · 18/04/2010 23:18

Ha let them come...we can handle it.

I woudl invade them, but really can't be arsed.

I'm imagining them all as beer bellied, hairy, ugly blokes who fart a lot.

confuddledDOTcom · 18/04/2010 23:21

Yes, they're talking about an attack on Confetti, but further down they say MumsNet is next and apparantly (I've seen elsewhere since I posted OP) they've already started here.

"SFBB wrote on Wed, 14 April 2010 16:40

How about we simple invade mumsnet?

Have PR ever invaded anyone? "

Missed first time I read through that it was a quote from before, still it stands they're organised trolls who do it for fun and have threatened to start here.

"From Jocnkeys Mumsnet thing:

i am absolutely amazed that someone could be so indifferent about a baby's life and their wellbeing....
i am not middle class, i am in fact a student with very little money, 24 weeks preg with my first and i wouldnt dream of eating pate or mayo let alone snorting coke while carrying!!

you have asked for advice on a forum where a lot of women have miscarried (myself included)and would give anything for a happy healthy baby at any cost...

i think you need to get off ur high horse, ditch ur so called mate and start looking after that life inside you"

HellBent · 18/04/2010 23:25

It says Mumsnet twice that I saw on that thread DOT, you are right. We should maybe join and let them know that the CUKers are up for invading?! Then they can invade each other? (that sounds dirty doesn't it? )

toccatanfudge · 18/04/2010 23:33

yes definitely says they already trolled a few days ago.....

HellBent · 18/04/2010 23:51

Thread has already been deleted, followed a link from their site

confuddledDOTcom · 19/04/2010 00:22

I'm glad it has. I hope they're not planning on coming back. I don't get what people get out of trolling like that, as a pasttime, it's crazy.

OP posts:
ZacharyQuack · 19/04/2010 02:52

Set Bounty on them?

(Release the hounds! )

devilsadvocaat · 19/04/2010 06:53

(release the huns!)

OliviaMumsnet · 19/04/2010 11:17

Hi there
Just a reminder that the best course of action if you're aware of this kind of activity is to drop us a mail
Thanks
M Towers

Jamieandhismagictorch · 19/04/2010 17:51

Certainly will Olivia.

I think they will be easy to spot

Quattrocento · 19/04/2010 18:03

I've seen two invasions now - one launched by CUK and another launched by a forum called Roll on Friday - and frankly, they were both hilarious, resulting in MN repelling all invaders with ease. As long as we have Tethersend, the MN equivalent of Trident (only fully-functional), we'll be fine.

Jamieandhismagictorch · 19/04/2010 18:05

yes, I think we can deal with a few rugby players

toccatanfudge · 19/04/2010 20:54

they can stay if they have nice buts though.......didn't check and cba - are they union or league..........if the latter nah they can bugger off.

Quattrocento · 19/04/2010 20:59

Ooh yes, I'm looking forward to scrumming with the rugby players. Or getting in a ruck with them

differentID · 19/04/2010 21:05

toccata- league is great to watch live!
