I heard mumsnet was now 10 yrs old and really wanted to post my thanks. I apologise now if it turns into an essay!!!!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Without mumsnet I honestly don't think i'd be here.
Mumsnet helped me wake up to the situation with my ex-dh & helped me find the strength to leave him.
Mumsnet listened to me when I was low. When I finally broke they called an ambulance & probably saved my life.
Mumsnet collected money for us to help me recover & help pay for medical appointments for ds.
Mumsnet sent cards & football cards when my ds was seriously ill in hospital & listened to me talk it over.
Mumsnet has made me laugh out loud so many times that I probably need tenalady.
Even last year when became ill myself, collapsed and subsequently lost my driving license some mumsnetters that have become rl friends drove me to some of my medical appointments & have helped me come to terms with it all.
Mumsnet is so much more than just parenting advice!
I also just wanted to say that life now really is good. We have fully settled in to life in the country. I have met a lovely man, which I wasn't even sure was possible! The children are settled at school & have friends. We are happy, genuinely so.
So, thank you & I miss you! xxxxxxxxxx
