spub · 24/01/2010 23:27

Scottishmummy, ROFL, La Sturgeon does indeed have a face like a skelped erse. I for one would never tire of contributing to the effect......
BTW, don't you think Alex Salmond looks like whichever one of Bert 'n' Ernie from
sesame street has the biggest eyebrows?
A parcel of rogues indeed! Up the McSweens haggis, though!

So is the [bbiscuit] fixed yet?

meltedmarsbars · 25/01/2010 14:56

Obviously not.

Granny23 · 26/01/2010 00:02

I have tried to ignore the comments from spub and scottishmummy but cannot contain my anger.

So Point 1) what gives you the right to criticise a highly succesfull, intelligent, witty, well groomed WOMAN on the basis of her looks?

Point 2) your 'really funny' comments are not even original coming as they do from the pages of the Daily Retard

Point 3) Who is yout pin-up girl then? Jakki Baillie, perchance?

Point 4) I actually know Nichola Sturgeon - do you? Obviously not, or you would know that when she is with friends, rather than up against it in the Scottish Parliament, she is soft spoken, smiley - a really kind, lovely person.

scottishmummy · 26/01/2010 11:13

oh unclench.hark at you i know nicola.well good for you.lil miss name dropper

in case you had not noticed on discussion forums, posters say lots of peurile petty ill informed comments about everything and everyone.ranging to david cameron shiny heid to nicola looking dour and a bit arsey

will i refrain form such comments?
will i fuck

do peruse the www and see the mockery and derision all politicians are subjected to.not just your pal nicola

shes a big lassie i am sure some petty blethering wont dent her enormous politicians ego

onlyjoinedforoffers · 26/01/2010 11:32

The Daily Retard?

Granny23 · 26/01/2010 14:46

Scottish Mummy
Glad you admit that your comments are peurile and ill informed. You carry on making them if it pleases you. I will carry on making my own small stand on behalf of reality.

onlyjoinedforoffers · 26/01/2010 14:54

Granny23 can i just say to add to your reality that retard is not an acceptable word in this day and age and as a mother of a son with autism i find it offensive so can i ask you in the nicest possible way to try and not use it there are plenty of other words to show your dislike of the Daily Record

scottishmummy · 26/01/2010 15:13

your choice of language is inappropriate gran.think you will find retard is offensive

and no i wont desisit form taking the piss out of politicians including your new best pal ms sturgeon

TheFoosa · 26/01/2010 15:44

only on mumsnet would a thread on smilies kick off...

Granny23 · 26/01/2010 16:34

I apologise wholeheartedly for the use of an offensive word. I am guilty of the same offence as Scottish Mummy i.e. simply using a formulaic expression that I have seen elswhere, without thinking what it really means. I am very sorry and will not use this term again.

(Off now to think up a suitable name for the DR that will not cause offence to anyone bar DR believers)

BTW I have known Ms Sturgeon since she was 16 and particularly when she was working, as a lawyer, for abused women, which is when I formed my opinion of her.
