Fancy working at MNHQ? We've got an opening in the fabulous tech team.

The job is at our office in Kentish Town, London NW5. We're pretty flexible wherever possible, but it is office and office-hours based.

We're looking for someone with in-depth knowledge and demonstrable experience in:

HTML
CSS
Javascript

Some knowledge of:

Photoshop (or similar)
Building front ends of database driven websites
General Mac and PC admin

And ideally would also have some knowledge of:

SQL databases
Linux
Bash or Perl or Ruby or PHP (or better yet, all 4, since we use them all)
Server-side Java

We have lovely offices, nice shiny Mac computers and pay a competitive salary. However, best of all is that you'll be exposed to quite a wide range of technology. Rather than only working on the front end you'll get to learn about the technology behind a busy database driven website. And you can potentially get your hands dirty with things like server-side Java, Flash programming, mobile web stuff, social networking integration and so on.

Send a CV (in plain text or PDF - No Word documents please) to [email protected] and include a note telling us why you'd be perfect for the job.

Anyone who makes better cakes than me will be automatically disqualified duly considered.

DHs (and all the other Ds) are welcome to apply. It's an office based job I'm afraid, so you need to be able to commute to jolly old north westLondon - the office is about 5 minutes from Kentish Town underground and BR station.

Bluesuedepews what's the ishoo?

No closing date - just until we find someone good.

I won't discuss the salaries on here, out of respect for the person that ends up getting the job. I would say as a guideline that the ideal candidate will probably have been working in IT for a couple of years and the pay will reflect that.

NorkyButNice, fair enough. Interestingly MNHQ have (or have had) 3 people with more than 10 years banking IT experience each, but circumstances vary greatly and certainly the salary won't compete.
