New section to let MNetters know of good offers you've seen in the shops - what do others think?

Today I was out with my own ds amd minded kids (I'm a childminder) and I seen a really good offer on in Boots. It was buy 2 of these things for £3 -kandoo wipes or handwash, there was something else in the offer but I forget now!!

Anyway I was just thinking, I'd have missed this offer if I hadn't been in Boots today and there must be loads of good offers I miss regularly. Oh and I got 2 Felicity Wishes fluffy hot water bottles for £2.25 each! Bargain! Could be a one off though who knows...

So what I wanted to ask the MN team and other MNetters do you think it would be a good idea to have a section of good offers we might be interested in to alert other mums/dads of bargains we might miss otherwise? I get e-mails from Martins website that tells of good offers every week in the shops, but TBH they've never appealed to me, I thought "parent or child" related offers would be more useful.

Oh and I don't mean an advertising section for companies, I mean genuine offers we've seen in the shops that other MNetters might relate to.

no janh people just used to start Bargain!! on a thread and we would all do the BOGOF offers on it not what was in salmonella corner (I always think of it as that now, it tickled me ) so what are you drinking tonight?

There is a site called madaboutbargains which has the supermarkets in but there is an even better one, with other shops too, with a completely loopy name that someone linked to recently and now I can't find it - something about ferrets?

There are bargain sites with eg Boots on though. Maybe MN could have a click-through to them?

Ohhh, the co-op - nearest one to me is about 10 miles away - I shall have to make a trip!

Dunno what % mine is but they're usually about 13 these days. Do you think they're trying to get us pissed?
