I don't hide anything... can lead to stumbling upon some fascinating threads through active convos...

IOnlyReadtheDailyMailinCafes · 01/09/2009 22:22

weegiemum · 01/09/2009 22:23

feedthegoat · 01/09/2009 22:23

hmc · 01/09/2009 22:24

thisisyesterday · 01/09/2009 22:25

Surfermum · 01/09/2009 22:28

Me. I just ignore anything that doesn't interest me and I don't really get wound up by any either.

4andnotout · 01/09/2009 22:30

I mumsnet by looking at active conversations and checking the threads with arresting titles!

beanieb · 01/09/2009 22:33

I have nothing hidden at the moment but I will hide threads I know are getting me too heated just to stop myself from posting in them

sushistar · 01/09/2009 22:33

I just look at active convos, unlell I want to buy a new buggy or something then I look at that topic. I have have nothing hidden! But I'm glad you can't see the for sale boards in active convos now, thjey annoyed me.

weegiemum · 01/09/2009 22:34

I think I ended up hiding the ones with no relevance to my life ( ... tack room, chicken keepers ....) and the ones where they spoke a different language ( ... TTC, Pushchairs ....) but I did keep the ones that wind me up cos that is what Mumsnet is for !!!

StressBat · 01/09/2009 22:34

i don't maybe i should

IdontMN2makecopyforlazyjournos · 01/09/2009 22:38

I have relationships and mental health hidden. MH I don't feel qualified or experienced to assist on, and my potential responses to relationships consist of "yes you should leave him" and "no he doesn't love you and isn't going to change" which doesn't seem to go down well.

sushistar · 01/09/2009 22:48

I always want to say that on relationships! LEAVE HIM! He's a LOSER! For goodness SAKE! He HITS you!!

But I've never been in a physically abusive relationship, so I don't say it - I know it's more complicated than that. But it's all I can think of to say!

Hulababy · 01/09/2009 22:50

I don't have anything hidden - I think anyway, might have to go check and see if I haven't clicked hide at a moment of frustration.

Fimbo · 01/09/2009 22:52

Nothing hidden, unless "for sale" (can't remember if that is automatically hidden or not), that used to rile me. I just don't open the ones that don't interest me.

PlumBumMum · 01/09/2009 22:53

I don't hide any,
I'm with feedthegoat & Plumprump I'm far too nosey

StressBat · 01/09/2009 22:55

How do you hide topics, I can see how to hide threads?

Clary · 01/09/2009 22:58

oooh no I dom't hide any

I guess if you do then yr active convos is a longer list of things that interest then...
