Mine has been doing this for awhile I think it started just before the long thread titles, it was definitely happening before. My husband keeps putting different protection programs on the PC, I'd be worried about turning something off and then turning on the wrong thong! It is only a mumsnet site problem though for me.

my ad blocker is on but I've just increased the level of blocker to see if that works...........it's still happens.

It's all very strange. I run Norton which has an ad blocker and a pop-up blocker. The pop-up blocker has stopped the stupid Disney stuff but it was playing around with the ad blocker that seemed to effect the text. Not sure what exactly the difference is between the two.

my ad blocker (yahoo) was off ive just switched it on and the text is all readable now, thanks for the tip.

I've had this as well and not changed or installed anything on PC, also had several crashes this week on mn but not anywhere else

I think the techie team are looking into it. If you look at the link to the original thread (I posted it earlier) LeTech said they were having trouble replicating the problem at their end, which makes it difficult to solve.

We've asked tech to look into it and will hopefully be able to come back with some answers soon.

mine has been doing this only this week. and if i hit refresh and scroll a bit it comes back.

This has happened to me for as long as I've been using MN - I just roll the screen up and down and the letters appear. It does it on some other text-rich sites too - can't remember which.

My screen's been jumping though - which I presume is because of the pop-up ad (which I don't see - think the MSN pop-up blocker stops it).

Mine's started missing the line of text and jumping about, but only on MN and only in the last day or so. Quite annoying!
