I think Christmas is going to be very thrown together this year.

The sensible thing to have done would have been to have "done" Christmas as soon as I got pregnant.

Of course I didn't.

So now, life is on hold bar getting sorted for return to school, shutting down a business and giving birth until Mid October.

Then of course I will have a newborn, be tired and settling into feeding etc for a few weeks... which will leave us about 3 days to do xmas

I usually start my Christmas shopping in the summer sales. I bought a load of stocking fillers last week in Monsoon, all the childrens accessories had 70% off.

I'd prefer to wait til December 1st, but that would be budgetry suicide. Sadly this means that I'm heartily sick of the whole thing by the time it all actually happens!
