Right, the smutty name has to go.

I will no longer be dragonbutter or nevergoogledragonbutter.

That name was only ever meant to be lovely with reference to dragonflies and butterflies but turned into something else.

Platesmasher was my name before I was DB and I like it.

RL is having a fresh start for me right now, so I think I will on MN too.

So take note, and don't accuse me of namechanging and not telling anyone.

oh and if I'm really starting afresh I should take this opportunity to apologise to Cucci for telling her fuck off when I believed she was a journo. Sorry about that.

Aw always liked your name

Glad the new/old name is giving you a boost but don't forget, many regular MNers do happen to be journalists IRL. That's been the case right from the start.

There is nothing illegal about it! Just like everyone else, we hacks come on here for to laugh or moan or argue or to offer or find support. Journalism (of all sorts) is just a day job.

edam · 27/07/2009 22:02

Oh Lord put the 'to' in the wrong place, am knackered after a VERY long day out with ds. And hereby swear that I do pay more attention at work. Honest.

Ooh, Pelvicfloor - are we related?

Platesmasher · 28/07/2009 08:55

i'm not anti journo's, just anti being interviewed without my knowing and my experience being used without my permission. anyhoo, it was a misunderstanding, lead mainly by a thread which was very accusative.
