O2 family technology survey: everyone who completes it goes into prize draw

GeraldineMumsnet · 19/06/2009 11:18

We've been asked by O2 to find out about the technology in your home, and who uses it.

This survey's open to all mums in the UK with at least one child.

O2 wants to find out if technology (mobile phones, TVs, the internet etc) helps or hinders family life: does it mean you can get more done in a day, or does it add to existing pressures?

If you have an opinion, please take a minute to complete this survey.

Everyone who completes the survey will have the chance to win £100 of vouchers for the store of their choice, plus an O2 Joggler worth £150.

Thanks
MNHQ

Some strange questions. We all use Sky+, why not an "all of us" option? And when it says "using", does watching a sky programme count, or is it how long we spend on programming?

And when it comes to upgrading technology, how come PC isn't up there - very strange!

Still, its done now!

ramalama · 19/06/2009 22:32

done

BecauseImWorthIt · 19/06/2009 23:59

Sorry MN, but that was a really shit questionnaire. Who wrote that?!

We (my DH and DC) are all just as likely to record TV programmes, but there was no option for that - I was forced to make a choice between us all.

And you only had Sky+ as an option. What about Virgin?

I've filled it in, but the information that I've given isn't accurate because of the way the questionnaire was written.

(Can you guess I'm a market researcher?!)

futurity · 20/06/2009 19:20

oops...sent it through twice and put completely the wrong thing in the email field first time round. can you let me know if the second one went through alright?

I have entered every competition to win a Joggler..maybe this one will be successful!!

BecauseImWorthIt · 20/06/2009 19:23

janeite · 20/06/2009 19:43

futurity · 20/06/2009 19:46

AnnMumsnet · 20/06/2009 21:03

EyeballsandherSunburntNorks · 20/06/2009 21:10

Love surveys but always think of Victoria Wood when I fill them in and expect the next question to be 'are you more likely or less likely to be buying Helman's mayonnaise?'

futurity · 20/06/2009 22:24

have emailed you..hope you get it ok as sent from my phone and not always reliable...what i need is an o2 I phone:-)

janeite · 20/06/2009 23:13

Thank you Ann. Am not much the wiser! As I cannot even operate the DVD player, perhaps I need to win this in order to learn to be a bit more techno-literate!

Do you increase your chances of winning by coming back here and saying "done"?? If so...

done

grumpalumpa · 24/06/2009 00:05

hmmm at first glance I though an O2 joggler was a new trendy brand of pushchair and got all excited

tigerdriver · 24/06/2009 21:58

I thought it was a pushchair so wasn't going to do it. But now...

,,, the survey seems to have disappeared. Oh well.

AnnMumsnet · 24/06/2009 23:08

tigerdriver-survey is still live - we're promoting it on this thread as this one didn't have the prize in the title!

DollyPardonme · 24/06/2009 23:23

Thanks, Ann (on behalf of Tiger - see the breast thread....)
