carriemumsnet · 02/06/2009 16:33

We're looking for 50 volunteers to take part in two online focus groups (25 in each) to give their views on a new website, Vodafone's Parents' Guide to technology.

You will need to have a look at various sections of the site, and then be available to give your comments between 1-2.30pm on Tuesday 16 June or Thursday 2 July.

Everyone who takes part will receive £20.00 per focus group.

If you're interested, please sign up here

Thanks

£20.00 per focus group?

How will this be split between 25 people and how will they get receive the amount?

I am now confused, which is easy to do.

LynetteScavo · 02/06/2009 17:42

Well I've signed up, but I want £20 for myself. I don't want to share with 24 others!

I've signed up, not sure what i'd spend the 80p on though

wotzy · 02/06/2009 18:00

May be it's £200 per group or £2,000 - meanies, infact even if they gave a lump sum to a charity it would be better.

Sorry MNHQ, don't mean to have a maon, but I can't get my head around £20 shared between 25 people for doing 90 mins in a focus group.

Vodafone reinstates bonuses after £4bn profit revealed It says "although profits were down they still came in at more than £4bn for the year". Jolly good.

geordieminx · 02/06/2009 18:03

tight feckers

LovelyRitaMeterMaid · 02/06/2009 18:16

I think/hope it means you get £20 for being in a focus group.

fruitshootsandheaves · 02/06/2009 18:36

Well its got to be better than vodafones home page. Which is the worst website ever. You need some sort of websire Phd to find anything useful on it and as for trying to top up a phone online....well, you'd have more luck actually posting coins into your mobile!

oh sorry went off on a bit of a rant there.

KingCanuteIAm · 02/06/2009 18:38

It says £20 for each tester in the thread title so I would say that is pretty clear, I suppose the "for each group" either refers to per group if you do two groups or is a mistake in the typing!

wotzy · 02/06/2009 18:40

I the title does say £20 per tester - that's true

Unicornvomit · 02/06/2009 18:41

oooh, wotzy , i love it when you get all political

KingCanuteIAm · 02/06/2009 18:42

Unicornvomit

what a namechange! Are you well?

I know I know all moany about money - I have PMT - so forgive me!

fruitshootsandheaves · 02/06/2009 19:20

I'm sure unicorns a would be too magical to vomit...surely they would just possit or maybe have a little hiccup.

Babieseverywhere · 02/06/2009 19:28

Carrie, I had to fill the form in twice. The first time I missed a question as a toddler hit return

Can you ignore my first form ?

MrsWeasley · 02/06/2009 20:33

I took it too mean £20 (per person) for each focus group you take part in. So if you take part in 2 focus groups they would pay £40 to each person.

I could be wrong but thats how I read it.

carriemumsnet · 02/06/2009 21:08

Oh dearie me, you wouldn't think I studied English would you . I meant £20 per person per focus group. I added that line as an afterthoughtas I wanted to make sure folks knew that if they did both focus groups they'd get £20 for each one, and instead I seem to have caused more confusion.

Babieseverywhere, we'll happily ignore first form.

Hope that clears everything up for everyone Thanks to all who've volunteered so far.

Can I just check you've also done the GMC poll too? No incentives but, it's only a couple of questions, takes 30 seconds and is a chance to have our say about a really important topic ?

done!

whomovedmychocolate · 04/06/2009 16:52

How on earth did you manage to get confused by that? Tis very clear from the thread title and 'per focus group'. Perhaps we need a new guide to reading thread titles?

VoodooApocalypse · 04/06/2009 20:21

does that mean you can get £40 for going in both groups?
